Storm sends 2 trees into Johnstown couple's home

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Residents in Johnstown got an unusual wake-up call Monday. Heavy rain and winds sent two trees crashing into Betty Stahlman and Tim Forrester's mobile home in Camoset Village. "Very loud, boom I guess. It sounded like the roof was going to come in. It was very very loud, first one was louder than the second one that's for sure," said Stahlman. Actor Nick Pasqual stabs ex-girlfriend multiple times, prosecutors say

LOS ANGELES (TND) — Actor Nick Pasqual stabbed his estranged girlfriend multiple times in her Los Angeles home, prosecutors announced. Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón said Pasqual, 34, who had roles in "Rebel Moon", "Poor Paul", and "National Day Riff," attacked the woman. People identified her as Allie Shehorn, a Hollywood makeup artist. In a news release, Gascón said Pasqual was arrested Wednesday and charged with attempted murder, first-degree residential burglary, and one count of injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend or child’s parent. Central Ohio bar raises entry age to 30 on weekends

BANGKOK (AP) — Aviation investigators arrived in Bangkok Wednesday to learn how and why severe turbulence sent a Singapore Airlines plane into a sudden dive that tossed passengers and crew around the cabin, leaving a British man dead and dozens others injured. Twenty people remained in intensive care in hospital after Flight SQ321, which was flying from London’s Heathrow airport to Singapore, hit the turbulence Tuesday over the Andaman Sea. Steelers' linebacker Anthony Chickillo removed from Exempt List

Disney gets green light for major expansion of Southern California theme parks

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Disney has received another key approval to expand its Southern California theme parks in its first push to make major changes to its iconic Disneyland in decades. The Anaheim City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to approve the plan to transform Disney's 490-acre (488-hectare) campus in densely-populated Southern California by moving parking to a multi-story structure and redeveloping a massive lot with new entertainment and rides.
