'Fake priest' arrested in California, accused of stealing from churches nationwide

Authorities in California arrested a man this week for allegedly posing as a fake priest and stealing from numerous churches across the US. Riverside County deputies say Malin Rostas used the alias of "Father Martin" to get access to churches and allegedly rob them. The 45-year-old New York native was apprehended during a traffic stop and was booked for an outstanding felony warrant in Pennsylvania. Police say additional charges are expected to be filed soon. Spirit, Delta planes collide at Ohio airport

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WKRC) - A Spirit and a Delta aircraft collided at an airport in Ohio. It happened around 8 p.m. on Sunday at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport in Cleveland. According to WEWS-TV, citing a Spirit Airlines spokesperson, Spirit Airlines flight 655 was in the process of boarding at a gate when the wing tip of Delta Air Lines Flight DL2577 made contact with the aircraft. Westmoreland Co. man arrested after stabbing mother while she slept

Westmoreland County, PA — State police say a Westmoreland County man was arrested early Tuesday morning after troopers responded to a domestic disturbance and learned that the man had reportedly stabbed his own mother while she was sleeping. Troopers say Kort Noel Eckman, 45, of Hunker, Pa, was charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and other related offenses. Somerset County, PA — It happened on March 12th of this year, when a group of people reportedly went to a house on plank road to retrieve their belongings from an ex's home. The preliminary hearing for Cameron Cinko and Jermaine Cook was held today in Boswell. Officials say the home belonged to Chris Jones and he was defending himself when he shot the defendant Cameron Cinko.
