JOHNSTOWN, Pa. — As part of a new five-year contract between the city and Sargent's Group, the Point Stadium will soon have a new alliterative name: "Sargent's Stadium at the Point."
City Council has been looking for a company to buy naming rights for the stadium since at least last year, when it began seeking proposals from local companies. This one will see Sargent's paying $15,000 a year for five years for the rights.

West End Ambulance only station in county with specialty ambulance to carry obese patients
JOHNSTOWN - One ambulance center in Cambria County has a specialty piece of equipment no other station has, called Bariatric Transport. It's used to carry a patient who is overweight or obese. "It gives us the ability to move an obese person in a safe and dignified manner," said Ira Hart, director of West End Ambulance. The bariatric stretcher's purpose is to help transport patients in and out of their home to a hospital.

Eldorado Civic group asking for public participation in recycling program, donations
Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — The Eldorado Civic Association in Altoona, which oversees the Altoona Teener League and Miracle League of Blair County, is asking for the community’s help with their aluminum can recycling program.
The money earned from the recycling goes to help with the upkeep of the baseball fields the leagues use, as well as several civic initiatives such as helping area families around the holidays.
People can help out the organization by dropping off empty aluminum cans at the group’s meeting place, which is located at 5939 California Avenue.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Two weeks ago Robert Levin and the parent company of Levin Furniture signed a letter of intent which would have allowed Robert Levin, the former president and owner of the Pittsburgh-based Levin Furniture to buy the business as the business was going through Bankruptcy Court restructuring of the parent company Art Van Furniture, LLC.
On Thursday, Levin learned that the parent company decided to close all Levin Furniture and Wolf Furniture stores immediately, to terminate the employees, and not proceed with the terms of the aforementioned agreement.
