Senior football player with disability at Greater Johnstown scores touchdown Friday night

Johnstown, Pa. (WJAC) — One player on the Greater Johnstown football team with a disability scored his first touchdown Friday night. Yasir Robinson (also known as "YaYa") is a senior who had a stroke around the time of his birth. Although, that didn't stop him from scoring a touchdown and a two point conversion. "It was good. St. Marys City Council rejects proposed mobile methadone clinic; legal appeal possible

ELK COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Friday night, St. Marys City Council voted against a proposed mobile methadone clinic. Methadone is a medication used to treat those addicted to opioids. Council voted 4-3 against bringing a mobile methadone clinic that would have been operated by Discovery House CU, LLC. Council member Shane Schneider voted in favor of the clinic. Dents Run, PA — After digging up a remote site in Elk County three years ago, the FBI claimed that they did not find any gold in that day long search. But according to recently released documents, the FBI was indeed looking for gold and a local treasure hunting company is still fighting to know where that gold is. Officials say they had a total of three babies born this leap year – one girl and two boys.

Officials investigating drowning at Ohiopyle state park

Authorities say a body was found in the Youghiogheny River at Ohiopyle state park on Sunday afternoon.

Fayette County coroner Bob Baker says the man, identified as 55-year-old Paul Baluch, appeared to have died due to drowning.

Officials say an autopsy was performed and Baluch’s family has been notified.

The case is still under investigation at this time.
