Windber looking to become new home of 75-room hotel

WINDBER, Pa. - A hotel coming to Windber took a big step forward Tuesday. Borough manager Jim Furmanchik said a feasibility study conducted by Hospitality Marketers International came back extremely favorable. He said the study showed the borough could support a 75-room hotel. Furmanchik said representatives were impressed with the area’s Flood City Elite baseball fields and Iron House complex.
