Humane Society of Somerset County rescues dozens of dogs from high kill shelter
SOMERSET, Pa. (WJAC) — It was a lucky day for dozens of dogs who were rescued from a kill shelter and brought to our region at a chance of finding a new home.
The Humane Society from Somerset County recently rescued 32 dogs from a high intake shelter.
“These dogs came from high kill shelters and were at risk at euthanasia, so we helped the shelters by taking them, said shelter manager, Nancy Dantzig.
