Hollidaysburg Area School District goes virtual until 2021

one dead, one injured after vehicle accident in Berks County

State police are investigating after one person was pronounced dead as the result of a vehicle accident in Berks County Thursday evening, a press release states. According to state police, a 17-year-old male was traveling west on Old Route 22 in Upper Bern Township and approached another vehicle at a high rate of speed. Usher's ex-wife calls for Georgia's largest lake to be drained

ATLANTA (AP) — The ex-wife of R&B singer Usher is calling to drain Georgia's largest lake, where her son was fatally injured 11 years ago. Fashion designer Tameka Foster has collected more than 2,500 signatures for her online petition imploring officials to "drain, clean, and restore" Lake Sidney Lanier, to allow for safety improvements and the removal of hazardous debris and other obstructions.
